A family of cooks

I come from a long line of great cooks, whose specialties include classic American and Norwegian fare.

When my youngest was about one, I made my way back into the food industry as a prep chef - turned kitchen manager at a gourmet food shop in Atlanta. I learned so much about family meal plans here.

I became the catering liaison at Whole Foods

When I moved to North Carolina, I got to work for the amazing Whole Foods Market! This propelled me to start my own business.

My son had food allergies and I had food sensitivities 

WOW! Discovering this sure changed the way I thought about what we were putting in our mouths.  It was a wake-up call. We switched to a mostly whole foods diet and it dramatically changed the way we felt.
